Our 3rd Grand-child Gabby has become active in a 4-H dog club.  This weekend we had our county Fair and Gabby got 2nd place in sub-novice A obedience with her English Bulldog "ROMEO".  Since he is only one year old, that was quite a big accomplishment for 10 year old Gabby.  She has a bright future with dogs if she keeps up her hard work!  (Aug ' 09)

Our 1st grand-child Samantha has been involved in 4-H with dogs since she was 7 years old. 

She also participated in the county Fair, but in the Jr. Grooming and Handling Project.  In her age group there were 4 participants and she got 1st Place which entitled her to compete for Best Jr. Handler.  Although all the kids did a great job, Samantha was just a bit better and

was chosen to win the Director's chair with the Lake County Fair logo and "best Jr. Handler".  She used "Journey" our English Mastiff that she has been training and showing in AKC events.

February 16, 2010  --  First day home for "Nitro".

Journey really likes him;  Fortune, not sure yet!!
